Burnaby Velodrome
The Burnaby Velodrome is Canada’s only indoor velodrome and one of only three in North America. Completed in 1997, the Burnaby Velodrome track is a 200m long and 6m wide wooden cycling track with 47-degree corners. Located inside the Harry Jerome Sports Centre, it has seating for approximately 150, and is complete with a warm-up area, officials’ rooms, dressing rooms, office space and wireless internet.
The facility recently completed $1,000,000 of capital upgrades, including a new insulated roof, new furnace, new hanging lights, 150 bleacher seats and an enclosed meeting room overlooking the courts and cycling track.
