BCIT Recreation Services is dedicated to the health and well-being of our students, faculty, staff, and members of the community. We consider recreation an integral part of campus life and welcome everyone to discover, participate and enjoy our many services. We encourage a well-balanced, active lifestyle that offsets the rigours of academia and everyday life.
BCIT Recreation hosts many sporting events throughout the year, martial arts tournaments, drone fair, Vex robotic tournament, along with JDC West, sports clubs, and group practices.

BCIT Recreation Services features a variety of indoor and outdoor recreational facilities, including a first-rate gymnasium that can accommodate two basketball courts, 3 volleyball courts, 8 badminton courts, or 2 indoor hockey/soccer courts.
The gymnasium can also be used for martial arts tournaments, trade shows and other large-scale events.
