Burnaby Lake Sport Complex
The Burnaby Lake Sports Complex is an active sports hub in central Burnaby. Extending across both sides of Kensington Ave, dividing the complex into “West” and “East” facilities that are home to state-of-the-art artificial turf fields and grass fields, accommodating various outdoor sports including soccer, field hockey, field lacrosse, football, rugby, cricket, ultimate and more.
Supporting neighboring facilities include the Bill Copeland Sports Centre, Burnaby Tennis Club, and the Christine Sinclair Community Centre.
Burnaby Lake Sport Complex “West”
All five turf surfaces are are ultra soft, all season artificial surface playing fields that are lit for 24 hour use. The fields are used for soccer, field hockey, football, ultimate and field lacrosse. The fields are served by a a modern 10,000 square foot clubhouse with meeting rooms overlooking the fields, and views of the North Shore mountains.

Burnaby Lake Sport Complex “East”
On the East-side of Kensington Ave. an additional 9 grass fields, one all-weather field and one all-weather softball diamond make up the “East” facility. Grass fields are used for rugby, Gaelic football, Australian rules football, cricket, soccer and ultimate.
Fields #1 and #2 are adjacent to the Burnaby Lake Rugby Club which provides clubhouse facilities featuring:
- Viewing of two match fields
- Changerooms
- Weightroom
- Meeting and banquet space for 120 guests
- Licensed public bar and lounge
