Haunted Village: Legends, Tales and Other Stories Burnaby Village Museum | 6501 Deer Lake Ave, Burnaby, BC

Dates Friday October 23 to Sunday October 25 and Friday October 30 to Saturday October 31, 4 to 9pm each evening.

As the sun sets over Burnaby Village Museum’s 10-acre open-air site, something magical happens. Haunted Village transforms the grounds into an immersive world of legends, folklore, and timeless stories from around the globe, brought to life through dramatic lighting and captivating encounter scenes.

Wander through scenes inspired by Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Count Dracula’s Castle, Anansi the Spider, the Monkey King, Maleficent and Sleeping Beauty, the Wizard of Oz, Momotaro the Japanese Peach Boy, Hansel and Gretel, and many more. Round out the evening with Halloween treats and warm drinks available at Mai’s Café.

Spooky, not scary. Haunted Village is designed to be fully family-friendly. Displays feature dramatic lighting, jack-o-lanterns, costumed mannequins, and storybook scenes. There is no blood, gore, or strobe lighting. Costumes are encouraged.

• Children under 2: Free

Limited tickets are available at the gate each evening. Credit and debit accepted. Exact change only for cash payments.

Please note: the Carousel will not be in operation during Haunted Village.
