Time

July 1, 2026 6:30 pm - 10:30 pm(GMT+00:00)

Event Details

Burnaby’s biggest Canada Day street party is back for its fourth year. StreetFest on Central, takes over Central Boulevard for a free evening of live music, food trucks, family activities, and a spectacular fireworks finale — headlined by Juno Award-winning electro-pop musician Dragonette.

Food & Activities

A lineup of food trucks will be set up throughout the festival grounds, with plenty of options to eat your way through the evening. Family-friendly activities run throughout the night, making it a great outing for all ages, with a fireworks show in Central Park wrapping things up at 10:15 PM.

Live Music

Dragonette headlines a strong bill of Canadian talent. Also taking the stage are Montreal singer-songwriter Alicia Creti, whose soulful, genre-defying sound explores love and self-reflection; Logan Staats of Six Nations of the Grand River, known for gritty, high-energy performances rooted in authentic storytelling; and Burnaby’s own Jordel, whose eclectic style draws on Frank Ocean, Miguel, and Prince.

Getting There

Road closures will be in effect along Patterson Avenue and Central Boulevard and Beresford Street between Patterson and Willingdon. Transit is encouraged — Metrotown and Patterson SkyTrain stations are both nearby. Bike valet is available at the tennis courts at Patterson and Mayberry. SPARC pass drop-off and pick-up is on Olive Avenue off Kingsway. Please leave pets at home.
