Medals for Burnaby athletes at the 2025 Canada Summer Games

“On behalf of Sport Burnaby, we congratulate all athletes, coaches, technical officials and managers for representing our city and our province at the 2025 Canada Summer Games,” says Robyn Hughes, director of Sport Burnaby. Hughes was also at the Games as a member of Team BC’s Mission Staff. “I’d also like to thank the Host Society organizers for their outstanding efforts in creating such a memorable experience for teams from every province and territory. St. John’s truly welcomed us with open arms—it was incredible to feel so supported and to see the community so excited about the Games.”

The Burnaby contingent of 20 athletes, coaches and team officials was part of Team BC’s delegation of more than 500 athletes, coaches, support staff and Mission Staff at the Games. A number of the BC competitors are also studying at Simon Fraser University.
