The 2026 season builds on a standout first year for the Northern Super League, when Vancouver Rise FC captured the league’s inaugural championship in a 2–1 comeback victory. Co-owned by Burnaby soccer icon Christine Sinclair, the club brings a strong local connection to Swangard Stadium as it returns for its second season. The new season opens on April 24 with a rematch against AFC Toronto, setting the tone for a full schedule of home games through spring and summer.
