Start the season with Vitality, an immersive exhibition presented by the Chinatown Storytelling Centre. Through imagery and storytelling, the exhibition explores the history and cultural meaning behind Lunar New Year traditions, offering a thoughtful introduction to the season. On select dates, visitors can also watch live calligraphy demonstrations that highlight the artistry and intention behind this time-honoured practice.
2. Build Your Luck at the LEGO® Lunar New Year Pop-Up
February 7-11 | During shopping centre hours
Good fortune takes shape at the LEGO® Lunar New Year Pop-Up, where imagination leads the way. Wander colourful displays, spot a life-sized LEGO® lion, and take part in free-build activities designed for all ages. Create a good-luck build to take home and kick off the Year of the Horse with a little creative momentum.
3. Get Hands-On With Lunar New Year Arts and Crafts
February 14-15 | 12:00-4:00 pm
Families are invited to slow down and get creative with Lunar New Year–inspired arts and crafts. From drawing and colouring to fortune cookie-making, these hands-on activities offer an easy, welcoming way for people of all ages to join the celebration.

4. Feel the Energy of the Lion Dance
February 21
- 10:00-10:30 am: Lion Dance performance and storytelling
- 10:30-11:30 am: Learn how to Lion Dance
- 12:00-4:00 pm: God of Fortune centre blessing
The rhythm of drums and the movement of the lion bring Lunar New Year traditions to life during this dynamic Lion Dance experience. Following the performance, visitors can participate in a beginner-friendly workshop led by Bak Mei Vancouver Kung Fu & Lion Dance, learning the fundamentals of this cultural practice passed down through generations.
5. Cross Paths With the God of Fortune
February 17 & 21 | 12:00-4:00 pm
As the God of Fortune roams the shopping centre, moments of luck and generosity pop up along the way. Guests may receive red pockets filled with special food offers from participating retailers, a small but meaningful nod to Lunar New Year customs centred on sharing and prosperity.
6. Catch Live Performances and a Dumpling Eating Contest
